DIRECT BROADCAST PROCESSING SYSTEM
The Direct Broadcast Processing System (DBPS) is an automated real-time processing system for direct broadcast data from the JPSS (Suomi NPP/NOAA-20), EOS (Terra/Aqua), Metop (A/B/C), POES (NOAA-18/19), and FY-3 (B/C/D) polar orbiting satellites. The DBPS creates a range of high-quality image, atmosphere, land, and ocean products from imaging sensors including VIIRS, MODIS, MERSI, and AVHRR, and sounding sensors including CrIS, ATMS, IASI, AMSU, and MHS. The DBPS is field-tested at antenna sites around the world for reliable 24x7x365 operation.
CLOUD INGEST AND PROCESSING SYSTEM
The Cloud Ingest and Processing System (CIPS) is an automated real-time product generation system for data from the NOAA GOES-16 and GOES-17 satellites. The CIPS ingests GOES data from the cloud and provides high-quality image, atmosphere, land, and ocean products from the ABI imaging sensor and GLM lightning detection sensor.
